ABOUT US

When: 6-10 October 2021
Where: Gold Coast Performance Centre, Runaway Bay

Gold Coast Titans All Schools (GCTAS) is an annual touch football event run by Queensland Touch Football. From 2021-2023 the event will be held at the world class Gold Coast Performance Centre at Runaway Bay, Queensland, thanks to the support of Major Events Gold Coast.

Held in October, it is the world’s largest touch football tournament, with over 450 teams representing various schools both nationally and internationally.

It is a seeded round robin-based competition where teams are placed in Pools of 6-8 teams depending on the size of the division, which provides school teams with a minimum of 7 games.

Across the 5-day tournament, over 6000 students will take to the field playing over 1700 games across 23 fields, attracting between 6000 and 10000 spectators.

The first ever Queensland All Schools was run in 1983 at Balmoral High School. There were 18 teams in total and St Edmund’s College won the Open boys division while Ipswich SHS won the Open girls division. Since that time, the event has grown to accommodate over 450 teams and 6000 secondary school students from all over Queensland.
